1, Leader need to change their goal if there are chance even though it is a little one.
2, Doing something create impulse, and it will be linked success.
3, Leader have to think about not only their own need but also organization/ balancing is important.
4, Establishing role is important to organization, and It creates order.
5, Leader need to pay attention to organization's member in order to keep their motivation/ give task
These are what I learned in this chapter,
Vision and Quick Victories.
Leader need to use some techniques at the same time. It is hard to do it, but leader have to acquire this skill so as to take control of organization, and they can achieve common goal.
About the Log,
I would like to answer question1.
What is your personal leadership vision?
Providing feeling of safety with organization to get together for common goal. If Shakleton were unreliable man, crews wouldn't have obeyed him and survived. In order to give relief, leader need confidence, rational thinking and don't be selfish. Which leader do you like confident person or lack of it? I think showing confidence is effective to give feeling of safety. Also, indecision makes organization fear. Organization require decisive decision. Also, leader who is self-seeking may makes members in organization disconcert. It creates dividing people and can't have common value.
I chose the "relief", because I felt I don't want to entrust myself to unreliable leader. I think relief is fundamental for trust leader. Without it, people wouldn't have the same goal such as Shakleton and crews did.
A sense of safety, is one of the key for the leadership, I think!
